Here you'll find images of drawings I have made as part of my exploration into texture and mark-making. Some drawings are transformed into landscapes through photography.
When blowing glass, I use textile moulds dipped in slip-clay to create a textured surface.
After blowing into the mould, I grind back the raised surface areas to create "textured marks" Grinding is an intuitive process and is determined by each individual piece.
